How can returning to work be safe if we do not know who was vaccinated in our space or on our team?

The CDC has said If you’ve been fully vaccinated and boosted, you can resume activities that you did prior to the pandemic. The University System of Georgia encourages people to wear masks based on their preference and assessment of personal risk. You may also monitor your community to determine if you are in an area of potentially substantial or high transmission


 

Can an exception be made to the research density guidelines?

How many people are allowed in a lab at one time?

Effective May 10, 2021, Georgia Tech revised its guidance on research lab density. The revised guidance and answers to research-related Frequently Asked Questions can be found on the Research and Covid-19 Guidance webpage.


 

Is there guidance for field work during Fall 2021?

Updated June 21, 2021

Field travel has resumed.

  • Georgia Tech employees and students traveling in state for field work do not need a spend authorization.
  • Travel for field work out of state requires a spend authorization prior to travel.
  • International travel for essential business and research requires a travel spend authorization in advance.
