Stamps Health Services (SHS) has been recognized as one of six finalists by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) for its Bernard A. Kershner Innovations in Quality Improvement Award. The award recognizes exemplary quality improvement studies in both the surgical/procedural and primary care settings.

SHS is being honored for its work in automating the student immunization compliance process. Through the use of new online tools and the forging of partnerships with in-state and out-of-state agencies, SHS significantly reduced its staff workload and increased the accuracy of its immunization compliance records. These updates not only increased the efficiency of the documentation process but also resulted in 41% fewer students being placed on an immunization hold for noncompliance in Fall 2024.
