Stamps Health Services at a Glance

Stamps Health Services (SHS), a department within the Division of Student Engagement and Well-Being, is an outpatient facility designed to meet the health needs of students and their spouses/domestic partners. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of the Georgia Tech community so each student can pursue their academic success. We are located within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building (740 Ferst Drive), next to the Campus Recreation Center.

Hours of Operation

Stamps Health Services is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays except Thursday, when we open at 9 a.m. SHS is closed on weekends and holidays.

We highly recommend students utilize the forms on our website to ensure they meet all of our immunization requirements. Click here to find relevant information and the appropriate forms. Students who do not submit their immunization requirements will be placed on a registration hold.

Student Health Fee

The health fee is a mandatory fee charged with tuition for all students taking 4 or more credit hours per semester (fall, spring, summer). The health fee covers most services at Stamps Health Services and is not health insurance.

Student Health Insurance Program

The University System of Georgia provides eligible students with access to a comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plan. SHIP can be used at Stamps and across a large national network of providers and services.

Primary Care

The Primary Care clinic serves students who have a wide variety of general medical concerns, from acute illness to chronic ongoing health issues to wellness and prevention.

Psychiatry provides general psychiatric services to undergraduate and graduate students and their spouses. This includes thorough psychiatric evaluations and medication management.

Women’s Health

Women’s Health provides a comfortable, private environment to address gynecological issues of individuals with female genital anatomy.

Our pharmacy offers prescriptive and over-the-counter medicine to students and their spouses/domestic partners. The pharmacy bills most insurance plans.

Travel, Immunization, Allergy Clinic

This clinic offers travel health information and appropriate vaccinations to students, faculty, and staff. Students receiving regular allergy injections can also receive these through the TIA Clinic.
