Covid-19 Testing

As we transition from a temporary emergency Covid-19 response to an ongoing, sustainable Covid-19 response, Georgia Tech will transition from individual surveillance testing to wastewater surveillance testing to monitor Covid-19 on campus.

On-campus testing at Stamps Health Services and test kits are available for symptomatic students. Faculty and staff should refer to the Off-Campus Covid-19 Testing list below. Asymptomatic surveillance testing at Price Gilbert Library will continue to offer testing until June 30, 2022. After that date, asymptomatic surveillance testing will no longer be offered.

Symptomatic At-Home Test Kits

To provide students with options for immediate testing needs, Student Engagement and Well-Being has procured a limited supply of at-home testing kits to facilitate self-care for students who are experiencing symptoms or illness that could be Covid-19 related. Students are encouraged first and foremost to use on-campus testing. However, this may be prohibitive for some students who are feeling ill.

Due to a limited and unpredictable supply chain, these at-home test kits are being distributed only to Georgia Tech students who are symptomatic.  Only one kit (which contains two tests) will be provided to each student who requests one in any given week.

Disability Accommodations

Personal assistance with completing a Covid-19 test is available to students through Stamps Health Services. To schedule, please email Dr. Benjamin Holton, senior director.
